Pup ruffs are decorative knitted and crocheted collars for your dog. Worked in the round, they stretch to fit over the head, and then spring back to comfortably encircle their neck. This pattern is for the crocheted version.

These instructions are for a small dog with a 6” neck circumference, and worn with the ruff facing up against the base of the head. This pattern is easily adjusted to fit any size neck. Just adjust yarn quantity and stitch count by an even number to accommodate your dog.

I designed Pup Ruffs for local adoption events for the dog rescue I’m involved with. I wanted to give the dogs a way to be more visible and better their chances of going home with their furever family.
