These knitted puppies are soooooo cute and they will bring you a lot of smiles!

To knit this puppy, you only need basic skills: cast on, knit, purl, increase, decrease, short row, bind off.

Besides conventional text pattern, I also made colored graphic charts so you can get the concept of how to make the project at first glance (much easier than staring at text-based instructions line by line while you’re knitting!), Plus, step-by-step photos with additional instructions are also included.

The puppies in the pictures are approx. 5” tall and 6” long, made with light worsted weight yarn, US needle 4(3.5mm). Of course, you can use thicker or thinner yarn to knit a bigger or smaller puppies with this pattern.

Material:
The puppy body in two color(white and brown):
Light Worsted yarn. Knitting needle: 3.5mm / US 5
Color A (brown) 20 yards; Color B(white) 35-40 yards;
The brown puppy with black tail and ears:
Worsted yarn. Knitting needle: 4.0mm / US 6
Color A (Brown) 55-60 yards, Color B (black) 3 yards for ears and tail.
