Do your kids love playing catch with pillows and toys? The perfect combination of a toy and pillow has been made. Introducing the Puppy Chubster! This toy Chubster is in the shape of a cube perfect to play catch with. Not only is it a toy but use it to add dimension, texture, character, and lots of fun to a room. This toy Chubster also makes for a great decoration piece in your kid’s room and play room. In addition to being a cute toy and decor piece it makes for great photo props! With these detailed instructions, even those with little crochet experience can find success creating their own masterpieces!
PUPPY CHUBSTER PATTERN DETAILS:
-The toy version stands 11” tall & 12” wide and 12” deep while the pillow version is 11”x12”x5”.
-Skills: chain, turning chain, single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, slip stitch, SC decrease, back post single crochet, cluster (explained in pattern) & basic sewing
-Written in US Terms
-Skill Level: Easy

THINGS YOU WILL NEED:
-Hooks: You will need a 3.75 mm (F) & 5 mm (H) hook.
-Yarn: You are welcome to use any brand of yarn in the same weight category but if you’d like your chubster to turn out the same as mine, please be sure to check your gauge first! For a tip on how to save time when checking your gauge, check out my blog post entitled “Becoming a Master Gauge Checker: It’s a stinky job, but somebody’s gotta do it…”
- I used I Love This Yarn (Hobby Lobby Brand). You will need 710 yards of main color (only 450 for pillow version) and small amounts of leash and bone color.
- Red Heart Soft Yarn (Worsted Weight). You will need small amounts of white, chocolate and black.
-Polyester fiberfill & tapestry needle with large eye
-Pins to hold pieces in place before sewing.
