Ruff Ruff!!! Adorable little newborn puppy dog outfit for photography sessions. This unique looks is easy to use during a newborn session and comes with 2 options for the bone and bow tie (bow). One option is a knit version and the other option is felted! A picture tutorial is included for the felted option.
Supplies
4.5 mm (Size 7) Circular Needles or DPN
Darning Needle
Stitch Marker
Scissors
Fiberfill for bone (both felted and knit)
For Felting:
Felting Needle
Foam Pad (2 inches thick)
Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Roving in colors Sapphire Heather (blue) and Natural
Any wool roving will work great as a substitute. This project uses about an ounce.
Yarn:
Knit Picks Reverie Silver
Knit Picks Reverie Natural (for bone)
Knit Picks Reverie Navy (for bow tie or hair bow)
Abbreviations
CO- Cast On
k- Knit
p- Purl
k2tog- Knit Two Together
kf&b- Knit Front & Back
Skill Level:
Beginner / Easy
Gauge:
4 x 4 inch swatch = 20 stitches x 28 rows
Approx. 120 Yards for newborn size
Measurements: (laid flat)
Hat: width 6 inches, heigh 5 ¾ inches
Bottom Cover: width 7 inches, height without tail 3 ½ inches, with tail 5 ½ inches
Bone: width 4 inches, height 2 ½ inche
Bowtie: width 4 ½ inches, height 2 ½ inches
