Perfect for re-usable Easter Egg hunts!

This pattern is 462 stitches for the main body of the egg, with two options for ears that are 59 or 84 stitches each. This pattern is perfect for beginners or will work up quickly for more advanced users. Finished egg is approximately 10cm/4 inches tall by 7cm/2.75 inches wide.

The pattern is written in U.S. terms. Stitches included: chain, magic ring, single crochet, single crochet increase, single crochet decrease

Tools needed:
Any yarn can be used, at least 2 colors, optionally 3 colors. In the photos, I used medium weight 4, acrylic yarn with 3 colors: light blue, gold, and baby yellow
Any crochet hook can be used. In the photos I used size G/6 4.00mm
Scissors
Needle
Fiberfill for stuffing
Embroidery floss (optional)
10mm safety eyes and 1011mm safety nose (optional)
Note that if a toy is being created for a child under the age of 3 years, please do not use safety eyes or noses.
