The 2018 Knit HAT-Along (HAL) continues with “Puppy Love”: sweet fair isle hats to make for everyone who loves Puppies!

These darling hats feature “Puppies All Around” and
“Puppy Pair” with just 2 Puppies and a bunch of Hearts. Both include fun and colorful stripes, hearts and cute Puppies!

Baby Size fits 14 to 16-inch circumference and is knit with #2 and #3 circulars and #3 DK/Light Worsted yarn (model knit with Mary Maxim Ultra Mellowspun DK, a lovely soft yarn).

Child/Adult Size fits 18 to 21-inch circumference and is knit with #5 and #7 circulars and #4 Aran/Worsted yarn (model knit with Red Heart with Love in “White”, “Bubblegum” and “Chocolate”).

Instructions include Full Sized Color Charts.

I’ve included some fun techniques for keeping your stripes smooth, and slipped a few stitches on the Puppy Ears so you only use 2 colors at a time, but continue some colors into the next round.
