This pattern was originally made as a border for a blanket. Using a larger yarn and hook, a scarf can be made with the same stitch count as a border. The scarf can easily be made with stash yarn and made in a solid color, color changing yarn or stripes.

The pattern is written to be able to do a stand alone paw print or walking paw prints. It has a graph as well as a written pattern. It also gives suggested alternative stitches.
