This pattern is Easy-Intermediate and requites basic crochet construction experience, color changing, and front and back loop crochet. There is also a small cross stitch pattern included for the cup.

Pattern includes instructions for how to create two styles of pup and some parts can be interchanged. Safety eyes are not recommended for children under 3.

Updated pattern: Row 8 and 9 of pup 1 should read 27 for the stitch count instead of 24.
