Purple Allium
This is the first of three shawls in our Wild Prairie Knits Bold Colors of Nature Fall Mini Club. Pattern was originally only available within the Club.
This first pattern in our Bold Colors of Nature Club is inspired by the Purple Allium Flower.
Pattern includes both a full sized shawl and a shawlette option.
Worked from the top down, this crescent-shaped shawl or shawlette is done in a fingering weight yarn, and has the options of adding accent beads and different lace point blocking styles.
It is a relaxing knit in stockinette stitch but with stripes and lace, and has plenty of variety to keep you thoroughly entertained.
Pattern is written and charted.
Our friends at Stunning String Studio are offering yarn kits for either the Shawl/2 Shawlettes which contains enough yarn and beads to complete either 1 shawl or 2 shawlettes, making it great to “give one, keep one.“ Or a yarn kit for a single Shawlette, also including yarn and beads.
Skills Needed: Basic knit increases (yo, M1), decreases (k2tog, k3tog, ssk, sl2-k1-p2sso), and Jenny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind Off purlwise. Beading is optional.
Yarn: Stunning String Studio, Stunning Superwash (475 yds/434 m, 100g skein, 100% Superwash Merino): MC: Wild Berries INTENSE, 1 skein; CC: Key Lime, 1 skein.
Or, any fingering weight yarn: Shawl: MC: 425 yds (389 m); CC: 240 yds (219 m). Shawlette: MC: 225 yds (206 m); CC: 100 yds (91 m).

Other
* Stitch Markers – Shawl 13, Shawlette 7
* Optional – Seed Beads 6/0: Shawl 200, Shawlette 115. For best visibility, beads should match CC yarn and contrast with MC.

Shawlette: 52 in (132 cm) x 14 in (36 cm)
