Crochet pattern for a man’s scarf.

Caron Simply Soft (6 oz. each): Plumb Perfect, DK Sage, Passion, Plumb Heather (discontinued, but still available - Blackberry or Orchid suggested as a substitution)

This crocheted scarf’s clean “knit” look and lovely color-blending effect were achieved using a very simple single crochet and slip stitch technique. And, it is reversible, offering a distinct design on both sides.

It was designed mainly in the passenger seat of our car during a winter journey down cold, New England highways. The fast stitching and vibrant colors added cheer to the sun-less hours and made the time pass quickly for me. I originally designed this scarf with women in mind, but my fashion-forward friend, Ed, looks fantastic in it, doesn’t he??! He proves it would make a great gift for both men and women.

This crochet scarf pattern uses standard US English crochet terminology. It includes details regarding yarn and yarn substitutes. Most importantly, it has been tested for clarity and accuracy by a professional crochet designer. I am confident it will make for a happy crochet experience :)
