Purple Haze Cardigan
Purple Haze is designed to be worn open, with the front edges hanging straight down. But if you must wrap yourself in this sweater (and who could blame you?), knit the next larger size and shorten the body and sleeves to fit your measurements. Directions for a sleek tie belt are included.
The sweater calls for a double dose of Rowan yarns in complementary shades of soft violet -- Kid Classic and Kidsilk Haze -- knit together to create lightly fuzzy, silky, tone-on-tone lusciousness.
(The yardage given above is for the Rowan Kid Classic. Because the yarn is held double-stranded with Kidsilk Haze, you will need the same yardage of Kidsilk Haze as well.)
