This pattern was inspired by the Purple Heart afghan project that I was introduced to by the Warm up Cincinnati project.

Skills Needed: Double crochet, chain stitch.

This design was made with worsted weight yarn, you can use a different weight yarn and crochet hook appropriate to the yarn you choose to make it larger or smaller.
