I have written this pattern so that you can adjust the sizing to your needs. The 8k-10k yardage was for a queen sized blanket. In that blanket I used roughly 700 yards per shade of purple.

Final blanket is a heavy one; 2 or more strands of yarn are held together at a time. This one was roughly 12 pounds and 75 inches by 96 inches.
