Purple poncho
The oversized poncho works from the center panel to the edges (sideways knitting).
It incorporates Mosaic, Tuck and Waffle stitch patterns.
Side panels are knitted with tuck stitches.
Center front and back panels embellished with mosaic.
Lower edge and side trim made with waffle rib. Collar is 1x1 rib.
Knitted on a Brother standard gauge machine, but any machine that does pattern knitting will work.
Can be done with or without ribber. Ribber is used only for trim.
If working without ribber make a trim manualy or in any single bed technique of your choice.
The pattern includes notes for Mosaic, Tuck, Waffle Rib techniques along with the punch card templates.
It also covered up step by step description, сharts, schematics
with all required measurements.

Width: 35.5 (37.5)“/ 90 (95)cm
Length: 21 (22)”/ 53 (56)cm
Trim: about 1” (2.5cm)
YARN:
Merino Wool 2/30; 3 strands -main color. Merino Wool 2/30; 3 strands -accent color.
Can be substituted for Light Fingering or Fingering weight yarn to match the gauge.
GAUGE:
Tuck 4”(10cm) - 27 sts; 4”(10cm) - 57 rows. Tension(T) =6
Mosaic 4”(10cm) - 30 sts; 4”(10cm) - 51 rows. Tension(T) =7
The tension numbers and needle positions given are for Brother machine.
Please refer to your manual if you use a different type of machine.
