Quick and easy, this shawlette can be easily whipped up with any fingering yarn. Measures are hugely adaptable and, as the border is knitted in an easy sideways pattern made up of just two rows, it can be added in any moment to the shawl, no stitch count issue. To create this shawlette I used a nameless wool and silk blend yarn bought from a market stall. I suggest using a drapey fingering weight yarn, silk blends are fine, so are viscose blends, or alpaca, or even linen. These will give you the best results. Make sure you knit the yarn with a relatively large needle. I used a 4.25 mm needle (somewhere between US 6 and US 7), depending on the thickness of you yarn you may use a 4 mm or a 4.5 mm. Just make sure that the fabric is loose but not too loose.

Facile e veloce, questo piccolo scialle può essere facilmente lavorato con qualsiasi filato fingering (sottile). Le dimensioni dello scialle sono facilmente personalizzabili e il bordo, lavorato per traverso è basato su una ripetizione di due ferri, può essere aggiunto in qualsiasi momento della lavorazione senza problemi per il conto della maglie. Per creare questo scialle ho usato un misto lana e seta senza nome comprato a una bancarella. Suggerisco di usare un filato sottile con un buon drappeggio: i misti seta vanno bene, ma anche i misti viscosa, l’apaca e il lino. Questi filati vi daranno i risultati migliori. Assicuratevi di lavorare il filato con un fero relativamente grande: ho usato un ferro da 4,25 mm, a seconda del filato qualsiasi ferro tra i 4 e i 5 mm può andare bene. Assicuratevi soltanto che il lavoro risultante sia rado ma non troppo.
