Purpleplexy
If you put three of my patterns in your cart for purchase, the fourth pattern will be free.
Purpleplexy is a half circle, slightly crescent shaped, large shawl. It has cascades of daisy stitches in the gradient colors separated by garter stitch. The main color is carried up the side and only 1 color is used at a time. Choose your favorite Miss Babs gradient and base color - a few are shown in the left column.
Final measurements: 84” wingspan by 20” tall at middle.
Yarn amounts:
Lightest color requires about 70 yards total.
Darkest color requires about 110 yards total.
Others are in between amounts as expected.
Shaping is done by side increases and a few middle increases. There are no short rows. Lots of garter!
There is a stitch count chart for you to check off your rows as you go.
Reverse side is shown in second to last picture of shawl.
Skills needed:
K, P, M1R, M1L, P3tog.
