Purr Purr Kitty Kitty
Overview
This project was inspired by vintage-style cardigans. The design includes welted pockets and set in sleeves. Vintage button can be used to great effect as part of the overall design. Knit out of a mohair blend, including a detachable mohair and cashmere Siamese kitty collar. The kitten collar is my recollection and interpretation of an out-of-print design by Madison area designer Olga Pobeskaya. The cardigan pattern includes five sizes.

Suggested Yarn/Notions
The project is knit with fingering weight yarn. Sweater shown in the photo is knit with Rowan Mohair Haze, which is no longer in production. Similar gauge could be achieved by using one strand of Shibui Silk Cloud with one strand of Shibui Cima or Shibui Lunar.
The collar is knit with Rowan Angora Haze (white) and Jade Sapphire 2-ply cashmere (light gray, dark gray, and black). Jade Sapphire 2-ply cashmere can be substituted for the Angora Haze, if desired.
