The Purrfect Pullover is a fun, cozy colorwork sweater for cat lovers. =^o^= This is the purrfect sweater if you’re new to colorwork. The chart is simple with only two colors and the instructions will guide you through.

The possibilities are endless for making this cute sweater your own. Customize the length of the body to be cropped or full length. Make the sleeves short, ¾ length, or full length. The pattern also includes instructions for waist & hip shaping if desired.

CONSTRUCTION:
Worked top-down, in the round, and seamlessly with no join, in the center single crochet (aka waistcoat stitch). This stitch can be a pain at first, but when you work fairly loosely and get in a rhythm, it works up gorgeously and it’s so worth it! The pattern includes a couple tips for helping you work this stitch.

SIZING
Sizes 1--8 with approximately 0-4” / 0-10 cm of positive ease. The center single crochet is not a super stretchy stitch, so I would recommend you size up if you are between sizes.

Estimated Yardage (with 5% cushion) & finished bust circumference for each size:

Recommended Yarn: 2 colors of DK weight yarn, a main color & contrast color for the cats and ribbing.

My sample was made in WeCrochet Capra (85% merino wool /15% cashmere) 123 yds/50g.
5.5 mm (or whichever size is needed to meet gauge)

HOOK: 5.5 mm (or whichever size is needed to meet gauge)
You may need to size down after the colorwork section to maintain gauge.
