You can choose any color you can think of, but the Pussy Hat Project is usually pink hats. I am a huge fan of crocheting for a cause and this new term “craftivism.” What better way to use our craft than to make an impact?

These hats have become a symbol of female empowerment. They are the modern symbol of the women’s movement, and women are wearing them proudly. They are sharing them with their loved ones. They are making sure their baby girls are adorably adorned with female pride and strength.

I have designed my pattern to be available in every size from newborn to adult woman. There is no reason every baby, boy, girl, man, or woman in your life shouldn’t get to sport this sassy, empowering hat.

Materials:
I9 5.5mm crochet hook
2 to 4 oz worsted weight yarn (Caron One Pound Dark Pink recommended)
yarn needle
scissors

0 to 3 Mos: 13” to 15” head circumference
3 to 6 Mos: 15” to 17” head circumference
6 to 12 Mos: 17” to 19” head circumference
1 to 3 years: 18” to 20” head circumference
4 to 10 years: 19” to 21” head circumference
Teen/Adult: 20” to 23” head circumference
Adult Large: 23+“ head circumference
