• Yarn of your choice in 2-3 colours (I used 4 weight acrylic in pale yellow and 5 weight acrylic/wool/metallic blend in red and dark green)
• Crochet hook to suit your yarn (I used 3mm - smaller than my yarn recommended)
• Darning needle
• Sewing needle (optional)
• Button (I used 1cm diameter - optional)
• Scissors
• Measuring tape

• Making a magic ring
• Making a chain
• Single crochet in back loop only (SC BLO)
• Slip stitch (Sl. st.)
• Half double crochet (HDC)
• Double crochet (DC)
• Triple crochet (TC)
• Picot
• Weaving in ends
• Sewing on a button (optional)
