This hat pattern comes with a couple of variations: two differnt edges, and 2 different finishes. It is a great pattern for learning how to do stranded knitting. It can also be knit in stripes and however you’d like to make it.
I used the Cascade Eco wool for this hat .I purchased a number of skeins of natural and dyed it myself. The main colour of this hat is a Cascade colour, but the secondary colours are ones I dyed myself. I do sell kits for this hat in my Etsy store ColourSparks.
The Cascade Eco wool comes in large skeins. The baby hat uses approx 40 yards of the main colour and 30 yards of each of the secondary colour The toddler hat uses approx. 50 yards of the main colour and 30 yards of each of the secondary colours
