A completely reversible, lace-free shawl that will eat up your sock yarn scraps. The shawl grows by casting on additional stitches at the beginning and end of rows which makes it look like an upside-down step pyramid (hence the name).

Finished size: 63” wingspan x 26” depth
The depth of the shawl can be adjusted by working fewer or more rows in each step.

The shawl can also be worked in heavier yarns. If you want to use a different weight of yarn, choose a needle size that gives you a somewhat open fabric.
