QUADRATA is the Italian word for ‘square’, a name that perfectly fits the design of this sweater. The QUADRATA sweater is an oversized slouch sweater that perfectly combines comfort and style. Great for relaxing at home, but also ideal for going out. Thanks to the loose fit, the sweater falls nicely around the body and feels comfortable, while the playful square pattern gives it a unique look.

The sweater is knitted from top to bottom. First, the yoke along the back is knitted back and forth. Then each shoulder is knit separately, again back and forth. Later, the shoulders are joined together to form the front yoke as well. Front and back are afterwards joined to close the armholes and form the body. This body is then knitted completely in the round. The sleeves are later knitted in the round, after picking up stitches around the armholes. At the end, the neckline is knit, after stitches are picked up around the neck opening.

The sweater is knitted entirely in a stitch pattern consisting of 2 colors: a main color and a contrast color. This color is knitted by using the ‘mosaic knitting technique’. This means you knit with only 1 yarn/color per round each time.
