Material needed:
Quadrippled was designed to make a baby blanket using a 4 ply/fingering weight cake style yarn of approximately 1000m. The finished size of the sample is approximately 95cm Square using 1000m of Cotton King Twister.
You can however use any ply yarn and as much meterage as you like to create as big a square as you need.
Stitch markers.
Wool/darning needle.
Hook: 3.5mm or hook appropriate for your chosen yarn weight
- Some crafters have found they need to work rounds 1-6 in a smaller hook size to have it sit flat. They also moved to a larger hook size in the outer rows if they find the points curling.
Stitches:
(US Terms)
Pm: Place marker
Dc: Double crochet
Ch: chain
V st: dc1 and ch2 and dc1 in the same space.
Skp: Skip stitch
Sl st: Slip stitch
Ch-sp: Chain space
Corner cluster: dc2 and ch2 and dc2
