This is the pattern for a quail appliqué. I do have this pattern available for free on my website if you would prefer that option. The link is down below, but I’ve made it available for people to download as well for $1 on Ravelry.

I’ve used 4 ply cotton and a 1.5mm crochet hook but you can use different sizes depending on what you’re most comfortable with.

• Grey, black, light brown, dark brown and white crochet cotton or wool, I used 4 ply crochet cotton.

• A crochet hook, I used a 1.5mm hook.

• Scissors.

• Darning needle to weave in ends.

• Sewing needle and thread to stitch the quail together.

• Black and white thread to embroider a dot on the eye, and the markings on the wing and tummy.
