’Quair’ is an old Scottish word for ‘book’ and this hat is all about the written word.
You are the author and you ‘write’ the hat any way you like.
Purl ridge lines begin at the same point on the back of the hat and travel around to the front, ending at various points as if they are lines of poetry or prose. You decide where the lines end and how this part of the hat looks, writing your own story in stitches.
