(Quaquaversal (adjective) : dipping from a centre towards all points of a compass
This pattern was designed specifically with self-striping and self-patterning yarn in mind. This sock starts with the heel which creates a hub from which the yarn spreads in different directions. This sock uses a unique combination of cuff-down and toe-up sock techniques.
Like most of my favourite patterns, it looks far more difficult than it actually is (it’s surprisingly easy). The stitch pattern for the leg is both written and charted, instructions are included for 5 circumferences, and the foot length is customizable. The instructions are needle-neutral to accommodate your preferred needle style and method for working small circumference in the round. This pattern has been tech edited and test knit (as have all of my patterns).
