Quarian Wedding Bolero
Discontinued
When Mass Effect meets Star Trek at a theatrical science and fiction themed wedding the bride naturally turns to Quarian Tali’Zorah nar Rayya for inspiration in designing her wedding bolero. Malabrigo’s Baby Silkpaca lace in Violetas was chosen to compliment the obi style sash constructed in Tali’s signature fabric from Spoonflower. Rows of pearled beads accent raglan sleeves while round pearled buttons dramatically close the high neck collar. The collar and sleeve cuffs are trimmed with a delicate crochet edge.
Construction Notes
Knit all pieces flat in stockinette stitch. Garment and sleeves are worked bottom to top up in one piece, adding sleeves to partially constructed lower body. Sleeves are blocked and seamed before attaching to garment. Beads are picked up and knit in. Crochet edge is added to bolero edges and sleeve cuffs.
