Quarrellous Cowl
‘An aran cable neckwarmer with a central staghorn cable and four-button fastening’

The cowl shows how only two cables can combine to create a richly patterned fabric. An ideal beginner knit, the pattern is available exclusively on the Smart Knit It app and includes both charted and written instructions and access to video tutorials and blogs on stitches and techniques used in the pattern.

MATERIALS
1 100g ball of King Cole Fashion Aran (pictured in ‘stone’) or other aran-weight yarn
A pair of 5mm knitting needles
A cable needle or an additional 4.5mm knitting needle
A tapestry needle
4 buttons
