To felt, or not to felt?

Either way, your bag is going to look fabulous! My crocheted bag was made with odds and ends of 100%wool fibers, so yardage amounts are approximate. The 100% wool fibers felted beautifully in my washing machine and I have added a link to a tutorial which will help you to understand the felting process. If you have never tried this technique, I encourage you to try it….your bag will transform right in front of your eyes!

If you choose to work the bag without felting, I would recommend using a 100% mercerized cotton and a 4.0 mm hook. Some of my testers chose this option and their bag turned out wonderfully!

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner - Intermediate

Materials Needed:

• 100% wool in 5 colors (Superwash wool will NOT felt)
• 5.5 mm hook
• button
• scissors
• tapestry needle
• stitch marrkers
