Queen & Corgi in a Castle
This pattern is 17 pages long and contains loads of photos to help you every step of the way. It is written in American crochet terms.
You will need:
Yarn of your choice. Yarn weight doesn’t really matter - the size of your project will simply turn out bigger or smaller! I used Patons Smoothie DK Yarn (this is quite a thick DK yarn so it is equivalent to aran or light worsted weight in other brands) and my finished queen measures 12cm tall.
You will need the following colours (all in the same weight yarn):
For the queen figure - pale pink, white, black & pale grey
For her daytime outfit - your choice of one main colour and one colour for the flowers on her hat. I used dark pink and pale yellow. Also some black for her handbag.
For her formal robes - red, white, cream & yellow (or sparkly yarn for her crown if preferred).
For the corgi - white & beige.
For the castle - three colours for the walls of your castle (I used medium blue, cream and royal blue) as well as small amounts of yellow and brown.
A suitable size hook for the yarn you have chosen - I used a 4mm hook.
A pair of 6mm black safety eyes.
A small amount of stuffing for the queen’s head, body and corgi.
Small amounts of finer yarn or embroidery thread for embroidering the details. You will need: black, dark pink & green.
Other tools you will need are a tapestry needle, some scissors and a couple of stitch markers.
You are welcome to sell the items that you make using this pattern, but please do not sell / share the pattern itself. Thank you.
