Queen Anne is the next neighborhood we’ll visit in the Seattle Sock Series! Queen Anne is one of the seven hills Seattle was built on and the tallest. A large part of the neighborhood consists of residential neighborhoods, where the early elite of Seattle built Queen Anne style mansions (where the neighborhood got it’s name!) Lower Queen Anne is where the Seattle Center calls home. McCaw Hall, Climate Pledge Arena, MoPoP, and most famously, the Space Needle are all apart of the Seattle Center. Most importantly, Queen Anne is where my dad and all of his siblings grew up and where my grandparents still live. I can tell you from a very reliable source that this neighborhood is where to go to find the king size candy bars on Halloween.

I’d love to see your completed socks! Please use #QueenAnneSocks or #SeattleSockSeries when posting your work on instagram. You can also tag me @gooseandghostknits or email me with questions at ashleygraceart@gmail.com
