Queen Bee Hat
Since moving to the smallholding my husband has taken up beekeeping and from time to time, he brings in chunks of honeycomb or wax, once with a few eggs and baby bees in! All these treasures from the hives are so extraordinarily beautiful they inspired me to design a few patterns.
This is the Queen Bee Hat, a slouchy beanie (extra slouchie if you add the honeycomb detail!)
There are also several other bee patterns in this series including socks, and Mitts and soon to be a shawl!
