A beautiful triangle lace crochet shawl that’s actually a little bit like an asymmetrical lace crochet shawl! This crochet pattern is fun and fast to make with clear instructions!

This is a royal shawl made of collection of fans combined with a grid section on one side. The grid section is worked in each row at the same time as the rest of the pattern. This makes it possible to use gradient yarn and still get the same gradient effect on whole shawl, including the side grid pattern. The last row completes the shawl with its characteristic crowns to make it extra royal. It looks advanced but is a lot easier than it looks! You can top it all off with a tassel at the starting point for that little extra finishing touch (totally optional).

SIZE AND YARN
I used 4 skeins of the yarn Concept Alpaca Silver from Katia. Each skein weighs 25 grams and has 120 meters/131 yards and is a DK or light worsted yarn. The soft sandy color I used is color number 251. I used a 5 mm (H or 8) hook.

Recommended yarn is somewhere around a 4 – 6 mm hook size (around a G - J or a 6 – 10) for this shawl. You can make this shawl with either smaller or larger hooks too, depending on what look you’re after.

The size of my shawl with the Concept yarn after blocking:
A: 112 cm / 44 inches
B: 99 cm / 39 inches (crown row)
C: 156 cm / 61,5 inches
