These hats work up quickly, and I can tell you from experience that these Frozen character hats are always a hit! They’ll fly out of your booth faster than you can make them!

This pattern has complete instructions to make the Queen Elsa hat with hair braid pictured above. It includes 3 different sizes: 12-24 months (18-19 inches around), 2T-5T (19-20 inches around), and Child 6-10 (20-21 inches around). Pattern is written using US terms.

The experience level for this pattern is advanced beginner. You should already know how to do the following stitches: slip stitch, chain, single crochet, half double crochet, and double crochet.

Materials needed are:
size H(5.00 mm) crochet hook
metal yarn needle
Medium weight yarn in light blue (I used Caron Simply Soft in soft blue)
Medium weight yarn in white (I used Caron Simply Soft Party in snow sparkle)
6 snowflake buttons or embellishments
sewing needle and thread (optional- if you have buttons with smaller holes, you may need this)
