Go cake up that special skein of sock yarn you’ve been coveting for ages and pour tea in your favourite mug. It’s time to settle in with a really luxurious project!

Queen in the North is a toe-up sock pattern with a heel flap and gusset for supreme fit. Inspired by Sansa from Game of Thrones, this pattern strikes the perfect balance between dainty and mighty. The delicate cable and eyelet running up the sock contrasts with the diagonal purl texture beside it. It combines Sansa’s beginnings as an innocent child with braids in her hair with her transition to a strong, independent leader -- the Queen in the North.

This pattern features an addictive 8-round repeat and an Eye of Partridge textured heel. It could be modified to be knit from the cuff down. Both charted and written versions of the texture are included in the pattern.
