Queen June the bear has been designed with Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in mind. Celebrating the Platinum event in June 2022, the pattern is perfect for beginners crocheters and beyond. Using UK terminology (there is also a USA abbreviation list as I frequently write many of my patterns in USA terms).

The project is worked in the round from the base of the body to the head. All other parts are made separately and sewn on at the end.

The finished project measures 5” tall from base to head (excluding crown), made using a 1.75mm hook. This can also be made using a 2mm hook (which may make the project slightly bigger depending on your tension).
