Queen Mother Socks
With the extraordinary life she had, Catherine de Medici, the Queen Mother, Eclipsed Consort, and Merchants Daughter could have had her own club dedicated to her. She was often in the backgrounds of the lives of her family. She was barred from being involved in state business by King Henry in favor of his mistress Diane de Poitiers and was Queen Regent for 14 years through the reign of two of her sons. Her three sons most likely wouldn’t have kept their thrones if it wasn’t for her.
The lace and cables create a beautiful sock that is fit for a queen yet still practical.
