About This Pattern

The Queen of Diamonds Shawl is an adventurous beginner level crochet project that is worked from the bottom-up. This shawl has beautiful texture and visual interest with a delicate and modern feel. This reversible pattern uses a 4 row repeat that can be used to reach any desired size.

Materials

• 2-3 skeins of Stylecraft Special DK (3.5oz. / 323 yards)
• Any equivalent weight 3 yarn can be used.
• Size G (4.00mm) crochet hook

Measurements and Gauge

• When using the recommended yarn, the sample shawl has a wingspan of 74 inches with a depth of 28 inches and used approximately 950 yards
• Blocking is recommended with this shawl to show stitch definition.
• 21 double crochets and 9 rows = 4 “ square
