A simple colorwork beanie with a swirled crown--perfect for a first stranded project!!!

Size: 18 3/4”, which fits my 23” head. Size can be adjusted by adding or subtracting 12 stitch repeat or by using larger or smaller yarn or needles.

Yarn: I used 1 skein Malabrigo Arroyo in 051 VAA. and 1 skein Brown Sheep Nature Spun in Sport Weight Peruvian Pink. Equivalent sport weight yarn can be subsituted. I used just a few yards of the pink, and not more than a quarter skein of the green--about 85 yards.

Needles: Size 4 (3.5mm) 9” circular needle, Size 5 (3.75mm) 9” circular needle, Size 5 (3.75) double pointed needles.

Gauge: 6 st inch on size 5 (3.75mm) needles. Use larger or smaller needles to achieive gauge or to alter size of hat.
