This pattern is written very carefully in English and German language. Pattern includes a chart for crown decreasing and a written tutorial for both unfamiliar 3-needle-joining technique and inside-out turns.

7 double pointed needles (DPN) 3.5mm (US 4), 3 circular needle (cn) at a time in sizes 2.75 (US 2) / 3.5mm (US 4) / 4.5mm (US 7) all 60cm (23.5”) long, 1 crochet hook 7.0mm, 1 crochet hook 3.0mm, knitting jenny, 1 tapestry needle
Approx. 4m (4.5yds) of scrap yarn in contrasting color for provisional cast on, 2 stitch markers or 2 safety pins

This project was all about shape, stability, wearability, warmth and chic. It resulted in a small production run of 10 de-luxe berets, which are worthy to be called hats. Majorily hand knitted with double-layers-technique, elaborately designed and finished with ornamental appliqués. There is no specific front. You can rotate them and wear them as you like. This aspect of flexible wearability provides various visual impressions.

STRICKTECHNISCHE DETAILS

Gänzlich in einem Stück vorwiegend in glatt rechts rundgestrickt. Konstruiert und vollendet mit 3-Nadel-Technik für Zusammenführen der Maschen und mit einer ausgeklügelten Stürztechnik.

In diesem Projekt drehte sich alles rund um Form, Stabilität, Tragefähigkeit, Wärme und Chic. Entstanden ist eine limitierte Kleinserie mit 10 exklusiven Mützen, die dem Namen Hut gerecht werden. Größtenteils doppelwandig handgestrickt, aufwendig vollendet und dekorativ appliziert. Alle Hüte haben keine Vorderseite bzw. Hinterseite und können nach Belieben gedreht und getragen werden, womit jederzeit eine andere Optik erreicht wird.
