Queensday Flower
In the Netherlands this years Queensday was very special. Our Queen Beatrix abdicated and King Willem Alexander was inaugurated on the same day. To commemorate this day I wanted to create something happy and wearable and very Dutch.
That is how the idea of a lovely layered flower brooch came into existence.
This is a very quick pick-me-up pattern for a happy flower brooch.
The flower is layered and can be either in one colour or multicolour, just as you wish!
You will also need a brooch clasp, and if you like it, some ribbon and a button.
Choosing another type of yarn (or another size hook) will result in either a bigger or a smaller flower.
