This just might be the quickest and easiest baby sweater pattern you will ever find. It is a top down sweater, completely knitted in one piece only, using the garter stitch, (knitting on all front rows and back rows). Very minimal sewing is involved, approximately one inch on each side.

Four sizes, from newborn to twelve months of age, are included with numerous photos. All you will need is one package of Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Yarn, aran/worsted yarn, a 29” inch circular needle that is size 9, 4 stitch markers and a yarn tapestry needle.

The garter stitch sweater is very stretchy which makes it easy to get on and off a baby.
