I’ve not added gauge as you can use an size needle (I used 12mm) and any wool you have! I used chunky on large needles for speed and ease but try different types of yarn to see what results you get

Top 2 pics I used a ball of cream Aran, a ball of Grey Tweed Aran and a ball of green chunky yarn

Third pic - I used the same 2 Aran yarns as above but used a black/white flecked DK yarn instead of the green chunky

Bottom pic- I used the same grey Aran but with a red and a cream DK yarn and it turned out about an inch thinner widthwise so you might want to add another 4 or 8 stitches if using a DK in 2 or 3 strands :)
