This is a super simple pattern intended to provide those who are teaching young beginners to crochet with a project that can be completed in a short amount of time using only chain stitch and slip stitch. It removes the need to understand where in a stitch to insert the hook because the hook is always inserted into a space. It also provides chain stitch practice that results in something they can use!
