Although the finished product looks fancy, I can assure you there is nothing complex about this pattern. It is an excellent project for any skill level from beginner to seasoned knitter!

This is an extremely easy pattern to alter based on the yarn weight and hat size you are aiming for.
If the same rib band is used, the pattern is adjustable by multiples of five.

This is the perfect one skein project, and with the little bit of extra yarn leftover you can make a matching coffee cozy (pattern available in my shop)
