These are so cute and a great gift for the sewer in your life. All you need is some green yarn and a very inexpensive 4cm (1 1/2”) terracotta pot (available from nurseries) and you are done.

How great would these be for fetes and stalls.

It is knitted on 2 needles with 8 ply (DK or worseted) yarn so even a beginner can make them. It is about 8cm (3 1/4”) high without pins.
