My child’s school was in need of hats for the preschool classes. Last year there was a knitting group that made and donated some, but for some reason they’re not doing it anymore, so some friends and I offered to knit more hats. The school wanted the hats to be super stretchy to fit 3-6 year olds. I had this Lion Brand Re-Spun Thick and Quick yarn on hand, but couldn’t find a pattern that was exactly what I needed, so I made this one.

These hats knit up so quickly and stretch to fit a variety of head sizes. So far I’ve made two from the same ball of yarn and I think I can get at least one more out of it.
