Help! I need a quick headband! I have some left-over yarn!

This was me in mid November - and when I couldn’t find what I wanted, I made up my own headband and wrote up this pattern.
(it actually took more time to write up the pattern and post it here than to knit the headband!)

Here’s a quick to-knit-up project - great for those beautiful leftovers from other projects. Perfect for all hairstyles: shorter hair, longer hair worn down or up in a clip! Yes, you can look beautiful and still be warm!!

This headband is knit in the round rather than horizontally and seamed. As a result, the fit is a little more forgiving and elastic.

Level: Beginner

Skills required: Long Tail Cast on, (optional 2x2 Tubular Cast on), Standard Bind-off (optional Twisty Bind Off), Knit, Purl, in the Round

Approximate Size: 21” x 4”

The pattern includes suggestions and instructions for adjusting the size and substituting other yarn weights.
