Although there are other beanie patterns available, this is my quick go-to so I wanted it in Ravelry.

DK weight and a 5mm hook gives me a beanie 5” tall and 5” wide. One skein of Sugar n Cream sport makes one beanie, with enough left over for a few flowers.

Worsted weight and a 4.5mm hook gives the same size. Or use a larger hook for a larger beanie.

Sock yarn and 3.25mm hook (striped beanies)

Make larger using heavier yarn and/or larger hook.
Make smaller using lighter yarn and/or smaller hook.

Can be adapted for dolls of any size.
Great, quick pattern for charity, preemies, cancer patients, etc.
